Birthdate: July 7th
Sign: Cancer
It is a bit confusing because all the time I have been playing Saber the T-M wiki has listed it as being July 7 (Making her a cancer). However, for some time it was listed on the Wiki as being May 13th, and now it is not posted at all. There is still some controversy in fandom about which is accurate, but since her personality fits cancer so much better, I intend to play her with her birthdate as July 7th and her Sign as Cancer.
Cancers exhibit very strong senses of caring, helpfulness, tenacity, domestication, a good memory, compassion, perceptive to need, and are very shrewd and intuitive. While Saber is not particularly domesticated, she possesses all of the other strengths in quite substantial quantities. She is unable to turn her back on the needy, she is always driven to accomplish her goals, and her intuition is essentially a supernatural power.
On the other hand, Cancers have several weaknesses that apply to Saber as well: selfishness, moody, crabby, possessive, manipulative, overpowering, too easily hurt, holds on to insult. Again, she does not fit all of these qualities, but most of them certainly apply to her. She is often insulted by small slights to her honor and is not inclined to ever forget. And though she will never admit it she is extremely selfish. Her desire to rewrite history just to get rid of her existence is nothing but pure selfishness, though she sees it as an act of pure selflessness.
