[Everything going on in this house was just plain exhausting lately. She had a new daughter, still had a horrible husband...well, that was it, but it was enough to completely take away her strength. Nothing a nice cleansing walk couldn't fix. Too bad this snow was extra bad today...she'd be soaked through by the time she made it home.

But for now, she was just enjoying the deep snow...she even started skipping a little and letting herself relax. She did like playing in the snow as a child...even if she had grown to dislike it over time.

...but, she wasn't really paying attention to where she was going...]

[well, that wasn't such a good idea in the end. Now she was wet and cold and needed something warm. I guess it was time to take a trip to the store. Anything to keep her away from the house for a while.]

Hmm...now, should I get more tea...coffee? Or perhaps this 'hot chocolate'...?

[With her shopping done, she really didn't have a reason to stay away from the house. Especially in these wet clothes.

So after changing, she stood in the bathroom brushing her damp hair to make it easier to dry.]

It seems strangely quiet today...which is exceedingly wonderful...[talking to herself in the mirror]

[She ponders the teas for a while before picking a box. The last few weren't any good; she'll see if this kind is any better.]

I do prefer the loose leaf varieties to the bags...though they are more expensive.

Mm, but nothing here compares to English tea. Honestly I quite think the Americans can't do anything right.

Hm, I have never been to America myself...well, other than here. The tea in Japan was not terrible.

I do not think our way of reckoning time is the same...so I am not certain I can express it in a way you would understand. But, I can tell you I lived just after the fall of Rome.

If not for my unfortunate housemates it would be slightly less horrible.

Mm, I had a similar problem for a while, though not quite the same. I have one who it was very desirable for me to be housemates with, and found him living across town. It seems like it is possible for the assignments to be changed, but not on anything more than our captors' whims.

That's the thing. It really was completely random. I'd been trying to find a way for a long time, then I gave up and was quiet on the subject for a long while. Then it happened quite suddenly.

I think this place will house us wherever it deems us most entertaining. My Darling and I are quite the pair when we're together~.

I see...I would much prefer to be alone. Marriage is not really something I am terribly interested in.

Not here they don't. Back home, I was actually forbidden to marry, on pain of losing...well, essentially everything but my life.

Marriage is a partnership that should only be entered upon the consent of both parties. This world insults all sensibility. Though, any decree the dictates or limits the actions of an individual are evil by nature.
